Summary: A favorite book
Review: There are only a few books from my childhood that have been ingrained on my brain, this is one of them. The others being The Brothers lionheart by Astrid Lindgrin, Bridge to Teribithia by Katherine paterson and Everlasting Tuck I,ve forgotten the author. These were my favorite books, and I still read the with pleasure because they are good. They offer good role models for kids and they are exciting adventures. I encourage parents and kids to read these books.

Summary: A book I will be happy to read to my future children...
Review: What can I say about "Wrinkle"? This book was magnificent. I haven't read anything this thought-provoking in a long time. Madeline L'Engle seems to understand her characters so well, and she projects this understanding onto the reader. Meg, the main character, is particularly relatable. The rest of the characters in this book are so intricate and mysterious that you yearn to know more about them -- particularly Meg's little brother, Charles Wallace, who seems to have extremely advanced empathetic/telepathic powers.

I have a feeling this book will become a lifetime favorite. I reccomend it to anyone who is open-minded and not afraid to pick up some "children's literature" every once in a while.

Summary: Nothing less than brilliant
Review: A Wrinkle In Time has got to be a classic by now - so many people I've talked to have named it as their favorite book. It's the story of an awkward high school girl, Meg; her little brother, Charles Wallace; their friend, Calvin; and three strange women who take them on an odd journey through space and time. Ultimately, it is a story about good triumphing over evil - a classic theme - but there is so much meaning here, so much pain. It's complex and wonderful, but not so that kids can't understand it: I read this to my sister when she was 7, and she loved it.

Summary: A Wrinkle in Time
Review: This science fiction thriller is almost impossible to put down. In this novel one second the setting is dull and grey, and the next you're zooming through a world of color or great misery. These are only some of the few things you will experience when reading A Wrinkle in Time. This book has a great, amazing and creative story line. It's a very strong book in that it is expressive and attention capturing from the start. This book is about Charles Wallace and his sister Meg. They have lost their dad years before while he was working on a project for the government. But, he was not dead he was just lost. At the beginning they meet three mysteriously weird ladies, whose names was Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit. They take Charles his sister and one of his sister's friend, Calvin and wrinkle through time. On the first planet they went to planet to introduce them to the black thing that had taken over their father, and others. On the second planet they meet a lady with a glass ball who shows them their parents and the black thing that had taken their father. On the third planet, the one where the Murry's dad is, they see that everything is the same. All the houses are exactly the same, and all the houses have the same flowers in the front. All the little boys are bouncing ball, and the girls are playing jump rope. When the ball hits the floor so does the jump rope. Then they go to the factory where they meet a man with red eyes who apparently takes over Charles Wallace's body and then Charles shows his sister and her friend, Calvin, around the factory. They come to their dad and somehow, they get him out of a clear column and then they went to see a giant brain. This brain, called IT, also tries to take over their bodies. Because that they tesserect, or jump through space and time, to a near by planet. Because Charles was left on the planet Meg has to go back and get him, somehow. This was a great book. I liked it because it makes you not want to put it down. I think it is a great book and I think any that reads this book will agree with me. I encourage any that like to read to read this book and I am pretty sure that you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed this book. So go read A Wrinkle In Time!

Summary: Great Fantasy
Review: "A Wrinkle in Time" is about a girl, Meg, her little brother Charles Walance, and Calvin, a soon to be friend. They meet three women who know where Meg and Charles Walance's father is. (He has been missing for some time and all the family knows is that he is working for the government) The Three woman take them on a wild adventure where things you never could imagine happen. During this trip they learn many new things about them selves which they use to there advantage.
I think this book was very interesting . It started off a little slow but the more I read it the harder it got to put down. Madeleine L'Engle wrote the book very well; weaving together science, fantasy, romance, and family love. I think this book is a classic. When I first started reading the book I kept putting it down because it was going to slow but lots of people told me it was good and that I needed to keep reading it and I did, it was well worth it! This book gives your imagination a jog on the wild side.

Summary: A Wrinkle in Time
Review: A Wrinkle in Time is about a girl named Meg Murry and her family. Meg is not a very smart kid even though her parents and her younger brother are very intelligent. Meg also does not fit in very well at her school. Her father is a physicist, someone who studies the universe. He has been missing for 4 years and they do not know if he will ever come back.
She, her brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin O'Keefe are going to try to rescue Meg's and Charles's father in the fifth dimension with the help of the messengers from god. The messengers from god are Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Whatsit. At Camazotz, which is in the fifth dimension, is where Mr. Murray is. IT is an a very large brain that can control the mind of anyone, but it can be fought. In Camazotz everyone is under the control of IT. Charles and Mr. Murry are under the control of IT, will Meg and Calvin be able to get them out of IT's power? Will they ever be able to go back home? To find out the answers to these questions you need to read A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle.
If you like a fiction book with great descriptions and intense feelings of the characters in the book this would be a good book for you. I like this book because it was fun to imagine what it would be like to be the characters in the book and I never knew what was going to happen next.

Summary: A Wrinkle in Time (Regular Review)
Review: Meg Murry is having a very bad life. She has no friends, doing poorly in school, and has a very impatient personality with many faults. If It isn't have enough in school to have bad times she has a 5 year old brother that is very, very, very smart ( not a genius as Einstein, but super bright for his age) and her father, who is a physicist, hasn't come home for 4 years! Then, on the day she has a friend called Calvin, the 3 mysterious ladies called: Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who ,and Mrs. Whatsit have taken Meg with her friend and brother on a quest to save her father. She must learn to fix her faults in order to fight against the unknown IT to save her dad.
I really, really, really etc... recommmend this Fiction book. First, it is a book that has recieved the noble newbery award. Second, it takes you into depth of what a world of fiction would be. However, the main it is recommmended is the story explains no matter how hard of a situation you're in ( Like living in life, or fighting IT), you should never give and keep trying to do whatever you may be doing. A Wrinkle in Time contains this moral within it that shows how Meg, a girl with a bad time, was able to overcome hard times.
My favorite part is around the end of the story, when Meg returns after resting, to retrieve Charles ( 5 year old brother)from the mind control of IT. IT, an oversized brain, has the ability to control one's mind, but can be resisted. Meg struggles to get Charles, but can't get to him with IT trying to control her and with brother under IT's control. Meg has tried to be angry, which freed her of IT for only minute moments, for IT experienced anger. She finally finds out that IT never experienced love, and when she loved Charles, he became normal again. Without love, Meg would have never got Charles, and our world wouldn't be the same without it.
