Summary: Not a worthwhile read
Review: I believe that this book was not well written at all. I found it a waste of time to read, and the jokes were not at all amusing. I seriously think that Miss. Bayne should not be writing anymore books in the near future or the far future for that matter. I do not encourage anyone to read this book, even if you love knock knock jokes. They are normally my favorite, but i found this book appaling, and a total lame waste of time and money. For your own sake, do not read this book.

Summary: What a cute little book
Review: I bought several of these for children's birthday gifts. Every child who got one was very pleased. My nephew told me that his 6-year-old daughter reads this book out loud in the car everywhere they go. These are great jokes for grade schoolers from pre-school to 3rd grade. Even the other seniors in my condo unit think the jokes were funny. I am a retired school teacher and know older children will not appreciate this book as much. A 12-year-old is obviously too old for this book. The pictures are beautifully done. I am very impressed that a child compiled this collection and wrote the introduction. I look forward to more books from this author.

Summary: Two stars only because of the pictures...
Review: So you think you're a knock-knock joke fan?

Well, then I strongly suggest that you don't buy this book because it will ruin your taste for jokes the very minute you open it.

I've got nothing bad to say about the pictures, which in fact are quite good.

However, the jokes themselves are all ones I've heard before, and most of them are so stupid that there's absolutely nothing funny about them. It's also not nice that the author copies someone else's jokes and puts them in a book titled as her own.

Take some good advice, and don't waste your money on this book unless you've got nothing better to do with it. If you're really desperate for knock knock jokes, your money would be better spent on books by David Lewman, Joanna Cole, or Tad Hills.

Summary: Fantastic but I'm Biased
Review: This book is filled with fun and and entertaining knock knock jokes that'll keep children giggling for hours and adults groaning for hours. The illustrations aren't bad either.

Summary: Bored Reader in the East
Review: This book was a very boring read, and I wish I had never picked it up in the first place. The jokes themselves are very lame, and I did not appreaciate the humor. I thought that many of the jokes were old, and some of them made no sense at all to me. Those few people that I shared it with, also commented that they were not impressed. I don't wish to sound rude, and I'm sure the author had good intentions, but it did not come out well. Once again, I did not write this to sound nasty, rather, to inform other knock knock joke fans, that this book is a waste of money.

Summary: Is a little knock-knock a dangerous thing?
Review: We got this book because my four-year-old knew only one knock-knock joke (the one with the punchline "orange you glad I didn't say banana?"). Let us just say we were interested in expanding her repertoire!

She adores this book, partly because of its small size (it's barely 3 inches square and fits her tiny hand), and partly because she now knows dozens and dozens of knock-knock jokes.

You may well find that cute for a while, although later on you may have to resist the urge to burn the book. Don't do it - she/he will pass through the knock-knock phase eventually, and you will come back around to finding this book charming.

Anyway that's what I hope!

Summary: Adorable!
Review: We just got this book in the mail today and both my toddlers love it. My 3-1/2 year thinks it's hysterical. It is definitely not for older kids, but for any pre-schooler it's perfect. The jokes are easy to understand for little ones, the pictures are cute, and the tiny size is perfect.
