Summary: Certainly not the best I've read
Review: Bruce Jones is one of the best writers in comics today. I would have said the best, but then I read this. The story is meant to be confusing, bouncing around through moments in time, and even Wolverine, the main character is confused. It's an interesting break from the usual slash first ask questions later story that Wolverine is usually featured in by other, less creative writers. Instead it is more character driven than any Wolverine story I've read in almost a decade. But it lasts way too long. This story was origionally printed in five issues, it could easily have been told in two, and more effectively.
