Summary: SUPERB! Standing Ovation for Rowling
Review: After reading the fifth Harry Potter book (that's right), I decided to indulge myself in rereading the fourth Harry Potter book, and I found it much more satisfying than the fifth book.

The character's are positively superb and the plot is smooth and sleek, unlike the fifth which is thick and bloated.

The plot is expertly revolved around the Triwizard Tournament, with a mystery as an extra layer. Very powerful deliverance and fits perfectly with the rest of the series.

5-Stars! Another standing ovation for Rowling. Bravo!

Summary: SO GREAT!!!
Review: The 4th Harry Potter was so great! It was not my favorite, but it's my 2nd favorite. That's still pretty good. A little pricey in Hardcover, but completely well-worth it.

Summary: Harry Potter
Review: This book was not even close to being as good as the 3rd one was. After reading the third book I thought this one would be even better but it really wasn't. It had so many irrelevant things going on and it was just unimpressive. blah blah blah boring. I'm so disappointed in this book, I think I'll go cry in my pillow.

Summary: Taking it to a new level.
Review: As always, J.K. Rowling has written a masterful piece rich in detail and life. That being said, initially I was slightly taken aback by the unhappy ending of this installment. I sat down with this book expecting all to end well and Harry to simply return to the rotten Dursley's at number four, Privet Drive. In retrospect, it was an amazing novel full of marvelous triumphs and heart breaking defeats. Rowling has definitely taken the stakes to a new level.

Summary: A worthy continuation
Review: Almost everyone knows the basic plot of harry potter books, so the matter of interest to me is why it is so moving for the people of the world. Like the old english classics by Dickens and Shakepeare it has transcended the boundaries of nations and languages.
And that is the point I am making. Harry Potter's universal appeal is due to the fact that it depicts an experience that is common to almost all the literate people of the world: spending childhood at school. In Harry Potter we see a reflection of ourselves doing all the things that we had so deeply desired to do but never could do. By making us relive our school lives in a heroic manner Rowling touches our memory at a place where our feeling are most strong and tender.
We love Harry Potter and associate with it because he is the embodiment of all we had wanted to be. And this association becomes even more strong when we see harry not just basking in glory but facing troubles and crises and quivering under the stress.
In the Goblet of Fire Harry makes a long protracted mistake of going further and further into Voldemort's trap. What appear to successes throughout the novel, turn out to be follies in the end. But as Harry is locked into a combat with Voldemort he once again rises to the occasion and manages to escape.
And so the great Dumnledore becomes aware of Voldemort's return. At the end of the novel a great chapter seems to have been opened in magical history whicn leaves the reader in suspense about what would follow next.
I firmly believe that the sole merit of good literature is that it depicts human nature and its various expression in the face of different situations in the form of thoughts, feelings and much more. By accurately describing the school life of a boy faced with many problems and also gifted with many qualities, the Harry Potter Series and particularly the Goblet of Fire, merits the title of World Classic.

Summary: Fiery Success!
Review: J.K. Rowlings 4th book in the Harry Potter series was a big success on the New York Best-Sellers List and already promising things come from the fifth book, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Harry Potter finds himself in a new adventure when he gets to see the Quiddich World Cup with his best friend, Ronald Weasley. His adventure furthers at the announcement that the Tri-Wizard Tournament is going to take place at Hogwarts. As this harrowing, and epic tale continues, we find young Mr. Potter facing fierce, fire breathing dragons and Merpeople at the bottom of the lake. He meets different students from a variety of different wizarding schools, comes face to face with death eaters (Voldemort's suppourters), and even reunites with his old friend Dobby, the House Elf. Yet the biggest lesson of all is who can you trust?!!!

Summary: "The Stakes Are Raised in Book 4"
Review: As characters, Harry & Company grew more in this book than in the previous three. Some of the changes were not for the better. Harry's success and small fortune begins to put a strain on his friendship with Ron, who is also not happy that a wizard from another school is showing interest in Hermoine. All this while Harry is dealing with his unexpected entry into the Tri-Wizard Tournament. This added tension was a great addition to the story and brought out all the faults any 14-year-old (Wizard or Muggle) has stored up. The events in the tourament made for many exciting moments. The end was rather surprising, and now I can't wait to read Book 5.

Summary: The Best One Yet!!
Review: This had to be the best one yet. I read it so slow because I did not want it to end but yet so fast because I could not wait to see what happened. I can not wait to start reading the 5th year it can only get better from here!
