Summary: I loved it! It's a book to read again and again.
Review: 7 Laws is an deeply inspiring parable (in the tradition of "One Minute Manager") about how to live a life of real abundance and prosperity.The tale is a very quick and easy read, and the story and characters are so engaging, it's hard to put it down. That said, Kemp and Knight avoid triteness and easy answers. The journey that "Sam" (the main character) goes through is true-to-life. He struggles with the closet-skeletons and broken ways of thinking and acting that we all struggle with. Yet his authenticity and hunger and personal growth left me inspired and hopeful. I found myself wanting to grow in those same ways. For me, the most powerful moment in the tale comes with the Law of Understanding. As Sam's life takes initial turns for the better, the reader might be inclined to suspect a one-dimensional, happy-ever-after, fairytale is unfolding. When the bottom falls out from under Sam's feet, he's left with who he really is -- who he's been all along. Then the life-change really begins. I've read this one twice and recommended it to many friends, all of whom have raved. You'll want to read it, too -- and pass it on!

Review: Cecil O. Kemp's "7 Laws of Highest Prosperity" has more practical spiritual guidance than Steven Covey's "Seven Habits of Highly Successful People", and is more readable than Spencer Johnson's "Who Moved My Cheese?". Following Sam's road from lowly beginnings to "highest prosperity" was for me both a pleasure and a beginning of my own journey to seek highest prosperity. When it comes to knowing how to live prosperously, Kemp hits the nail on the noggin! No false premise here.

Review: If you think you know what prosperity is, this book may change your mind. It presents the fullest definition of "Propserity" I've ever found. So much of what we call success is only superficial, but this book goes deep. Written as a short novel, it will keep you on the edge of your seat as the main character moves from a wood cutter to "highest prosperity." I love it.

Mr. Kemp has interwoven a fable with simple truths to create a tapestry of insight that can enable the reader to understand the co-existence of both monetary and spiritual values.
7 Laws of Highest Prosperity is the story of Sam the Wood Gatherer who finds better ways of doing business, increasing his profits from the same labor, contributing to his community's well-being and becoming a guidepost on the road called inspiration. The 7 laws represented in this well-written and valuable lesson to transformation are amazingly obvious, yet many of us are simply too busy to recognize them. They start with the Law of Wisdom---"The highest wisdom resides in God's supreme thought and love." All the other laws follow once we understand this truism. The Laws of Priority, Motive, Generosity, Understanding, Preparation and Preservation describe the successes that can occur for us, our families, our communities and our future generations. Author and seeker knows from first hand experience. The lessons he learned while being a successful CPA, Chief Financial Officer, entrepreneur and co-owner (with Patty, his wife of 30 years) of investment services companies, are applied to this fine book. Indeed, it seems Mr. Kemp could be a 21st century Sam the Wood Gatherer. 7 Laws of Highest Prosperity is about making a living but more importantly, its about making a life. In this reviewer's opinion, Cecil O. Kemp Jr. has given us a work of inspiration and a means to find true prosperity!

It is a refreshing story about how God desires all of us to be prosperous in every area of our lives. What better what to witness than through success! If you're looking for clear understanding of God's purpose for your life, then this is the book for you!

Summary: An excellent book for readers of any age. A real Jewel.
Review: This book is a rare gem, a precious stone of truth and wisdom conveyed in a warm, simple and profound manner. In story form (allegory prose), "Sam, the Wood Gatherer" learns (and in turn, teaches the reader) the great lessons in life as he traverses from collecting sticks and twigs (to sell as firewood) all the way up to true wealth and "Highest Prosperity." I truly enjoyed reading this little book. It's written in such an entertaining and engaging style that the experience deems revisiting, as if it were an old friend. I'm sure it will be just as delightful and thought-provoking in future readings as the first. The essence of life is growth and reverence. As we learn more about the time-honored value of Eternal Truth, and how to receive Wisdom and apply it in our own personal lives, we find the reward of contentment, inner peace, and fulfillment. The 7 Laws of Highest Prosperity that are woven into the colorful and cozy fabric of this story encompass the total picture: it reveals all that is needed to live and prosper a most honorable and satisfying life. Someone once said, "You can not break the law. You can only break yourself against the law." The Law, as revealed in these 7 Laws, points the way and lights the path to the love of God, the joy of righteousness, and the hope of the ages. Read this book ... it really is a gem!
