Rating: Summary: Substantial, readable advice on tackling a thesis Review: When tackling an MBA thesis, this book was the best we came across. It is well-structured, written in a very readable style and has a good index. Jankowicz explains what is usually expected at various levels (from undergraduate to Ph.D.). The content is often academic, but if your thesis is supposed to have a serious academic component and you are interested in producing a solid report, that will help rather than hinder you. It's the kind of book interested students will dip into over and over again in the course of writing a thesis. Having Jankowicz on the shelf won't replace a helpful academic supervisor, but it will answer MANY questions, thus allowing you to use your supervisor's time more productively, for issues specific to your project. If your project is data-heavy, you will need other reference material; suggestions are provided in the book.
