Summary: Wade called it right - 2 bad years and UP we went!
Review: 2 Bad Years and Up We Go provided an opportnity for those who were perceptive enough to see it, to make money--a lot of money.Actually, I made money in the prior two years as well by following ade's advice in WSMM Vol 3 so it wasn't 2 bad years and up I go, it was just another up year following Mr. Cook's unparralled techniques.I am still making money with this book (and WSMM#3 as wellas other books in the WSMM series) by following the strategies in 2003, playing the highs and lows and setting proper exit points.Timing is everything. If you lost $$$ and are still losing money, then you need this book more than ever.

Summary: 2 Bad years and UP we went!
Review: After two consecutive bad years, Wade Cook along wth those who followed his strategies, enjoyed a major gain in 2002. This in a year when ALL major indexes were down, in most cases, by double digits. When it comes to investing, Wade knows what he is talking about. Get this book and start making some real money for a change.

Summary: Learn how to temper volatility
Review: Cook communicates no insights, but he does share a wealth of story telling. My advice to would-be readers of Wade Cook and beginning option traders is to learn to trade volatility in all phases of the market cycle. McMillan and Gentile have written on these issues. I recommend using an Amazon search for these authors and finding out how volatility is used in option pricing & strategy formulation.

Just move beyond Wade Cook.

Summary: More applicable now than ever
Review: Cook said that the marketsould be range bound...and they were. The markets went UP and came DOWN and thanks to the advice by Wade, we made money on the highs and lows. Expect more of the same in 2003.On the other hand, the nice pop we got in early 2003 shows that Wade is again on the money with his advice. Great book and ignore the bashers. I heard a rumor that there is a email going around to bash Wade Cooks books and do other things to try to drop the ppularity of Wades books. So don't be surprised to see a slew of more "1 star" reviews or notice the ratings fluctuate drastically. It has nothing to do with how the book is selling, just Wade Cooks bashers.

Summary: This book is making me money now
Review: The information that WADE COOK discusses in this book is ideal for the times we are in right now and when the market is where it is right now. I'm using these strategies and profiting.

Great book. Thanks Wade.

Summary: Learn to trade in ranges
Review: This is an excellent book to learn how to trade when the market is range bound as it is right now. I and many others made a ton of money following the advice in this and other Wade Cook Books even during the Clinton Bear Market.

As for other books. I would recommend Wall Street Money Machine Volume 1, Red Light Green Light (really great right now during earnings season) and Wall Street Money Machine Vol. 2.

Regarding other books that get mentioned, in most cases they are just fluff filled copies of Wade's books. One book written by this so called option expert was virtually a carbon copy of Wall Street Money Machine Volume 4. The fact that they are advertising their books here on Amazon with Wade's books tells me that they are still trying to copy off of Wade.

Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery but I prefer to go with the original----WADE COOK. While they are copying Wade, Mr. Cook is developing new strategies and these guys are trying to play catch up.

Want to learn how to trade profitably? Start with this book.

Summary: Please read the book before writing a review!
Review: What Wade said, for those of us who actually bought and read 2 Bad Years and Up We Go, is that the market would be range bound for 2002. He did say that typically after 2 bad years, according to historical data, the market goes up, but to expect a range.

I followed Wades advice as espouses in 2 Bad Years and Up We Go and had the best year ever. His advice works.

1 star reviewers and Wade bashers, you guys obviously have a lot of free time on your hands and are also obviously cluesless on investing.

QUESTION: What do you guys want to be when you grow up? Hmmmmm?
