Summary: Great book, lousy proofreading
Review: I honestly don't understand why this book doesn't get more attention. Ignoring volume is ignoring 1/2 of the information available to the trader/investor (the other being price). This book provided a lot of insight and understanding that I was previously oblivious to, especially regarding volume buildups and spikes.

One of the other reviewers wrote that this book is for novices.. I've been trading for 2 years now and find that NOT to be the case. Unfortunately, even the most serious texts seem to spend little time on the treatment of volume. This book picks up the slack.

One major gripe I do have, that perhaps the author/publishers should take note of, is the absolutely horrible proofreading treatment this book received. Loaded with errors. *Loaded!* Especially troubling were the *numerous* mathematical errors in the TRIN calculation examples. I'd give the proofreader(s) an F- (and the boot). It is for this reason alone that the book gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Summary: no new concepts or trading rules to learn
Review: i read the 2 reviews beforme mine and agree with both of them. if you're new and searching for some foundation, this is an ok book to learn a bit about the effects of volume. however, if you're familiar with the basics of trading and the various techniques of technical analysis. this book is not much of a use.
it describes 2 volume based indicators but doesnt tell you how it should be used; it describes various high volume situations but doesnt really tell you what to do (in honesty, no one can!).
if you're not new to trading but looking for some fresh idea, this isnt the book.

Summary: Not even rateble !
Review: I wuold warmly suggest to spend 50 dollars in something else , the book is aimless , useless from the first page to last one .
No basic concept has explained about the volume , dynamic of volume and price . Clearly Mr. Cassidy is concerned about the volume of the sales of his book !

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Nothing
Review: The information in this book is very basic. It is not even worth reading.
