Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great motivational guide
Review: I really liked this book. The 25 Indispensible Rules is a great guide for a new manager. Each rule is only a page or two long, is written simply without a lot of management jargon, and is kind of inspiring. I plan to keep it on my desk to motivate and remind me when things start to get a little overwhelming. I highly recommend it. All companies should give this to all their new managers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Solid practical advice
Review: This book has great advice for new managers that can also be used by anyone working in an organization. Experienced managers will want to have it on their desks (as I do) to remind them of why it's important to start meetings on time, how to deal with office politics, putting people first--all 25 are gems. It also would have been great when I was starting out to help me recognize why some managers were so great to work for. A great gift!
