Rating: Summary: Could this be the real world? Review: Corporate scandals, unemployment, terrorism, wars, could this be the real world? Graduates today are facing some of the toughest times in US history, this book helps readers get on track after school and deal more effectively in our crazy world. The book is well written and has good advice to give readers a solid start in life. Another great book full of practical, easy to implement tips for the grad is Rat Race Relaxer: Your Potential & The Maze of Life by JoAnna Carey.
Rating: Summary: Great resource Review: I was quite surprised at how interesting and practical this book was. Many books on personal finance or job finding can be grueling to read and filled with more hype than useful tips. But Stacy Kravetz writes well, and she knows what she's talking about. She also has a pretty healthy perspective on jobs and finding jobs, which can provide hope for the underemployed college grad. If you're looking to organize your life in a sensible way, it's definitely worth skimming through once, but it can be a good reference guide as well.
