Rating: Summary: OK book... Review: This book is not too bad. As the title suggests, it focuses on the horror stories of traders, many of whom are extremely successful. There are a couple of problems with this book: - The main problem is it's not very focused in terms of questioning surrounding the stuff up. Sorry, it just doesn't compare with Schwager's depth. The book is not a publication of the interview transcripts, I suspect there's a bit of reduction in some of the detail. - The interviews are too short (again, may have to do with the focus on screw ups) that they sometimes end abruptly and the description of the interview subject is even longer than the actual substance of the interview!! Perhaps interview less people with more detail? - I also think the writing is not as good as Schwager's. This is possibly a subjective issue, but I think it lacks clarity. - There is a noticeable amount of spelling errors and some formatting errors (eg 2 lines between paragraphs). This is not a big deal, but does indicate lack of professionalism. Don't fret, because there are many positives with this book: - If you're looking at a purely motivational text, this could be what you're looking for. Even the best traders screw up royally. - Simple english --> easy to understand with a very casual tone. - Some great traders are included... I think this ranks about the same as Schwager's newest Stock Market Wizards (which has its problems - see my review also).
