Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book should be required reading for all school people.
Review: The book, which is an easy read, predicts and summarizes what we see beginning to happen in our employment world today. More and more corporations are down-sizing, more people are working at part-time jobs, and out of their homes on a contractual basis, technology is booming causing us to be able to communicate more quickly with each other, and so forth. Boyette very insightfully describes the direction that our culture needs to take to prepare our students to meet the demanding employment world of the future. What is scary is that so few of us foresee, are aware of, and respond appropriately to those demands in our schools, our communities and, politically, in our nation. This book is a "must read" for anyone helping students direct their lives in preparations for the world of work.
