Summary: The Wave 3 Way to Build your downline
Review: After spending all of one night reading the first Wave 3, the next day I went and bought this one. Then I spent all night reading this book. (No sleep in 2 days) If there was ever a way to look at the misunderstood industry of MLM/Network Marketing, or if you ever need inspiration from real stories of real people who have made-it. Than this is a great book to read

Summary: Very disappointing book. Not enough content for price.
Review: I bought this book because I thought it would teach me techniques on building a downline (hence the name - "Wave 3 Way to Building Your Downline"). There are tons of stories on how people got into MLM, failed, stuck through it, fought through hard times, and with persistence made tons of money with an MLM company. These stories really don't tell you people's techniques on building a downline. There maybe a pointer her or there, but the majority of this book is just filler (Joe didn't make much money, joe went to MLM meeting, Joe was mad it was an MLM meeting, Joe joined MLM anyway, MLM failed/went out of business, Joe joined different MLM, went through tough times, Joe then made tons of money).

Most titles of each chapter in this book refer to a technique or concept. And each chapter is nothing but a couple MLM success stories POORLY based around the subject of the chapter. Maybe about 5 % of each chapter really develops on the technique or concept suggested by the chapter's title. The rest is, as I've said before, nothing but MLM success story telling. If you took the filler out of this book, you'd have about 5 to 10 pages worth of valid information. I use a highlighter in every book I read. This book is about 220 pages long. I try to underline everything that's important. For the majority of this book, I only highlighted a sentence or two every five pages. I had a hard time giving this book 2 stars. I really wish I could have given it 1 and 1/2. If this book had cost 5$ instead of 10$, maybe I wouldn't have had such a hard time giving it 2 stars.

Don't expect to learn the ins and outs of building your downline from this book. Expect a load of MLM hype instead.

TIP: Always be wary of a book that has nothing but 5 star reviews. In this case, I bet Richard Poe (considering he's an MLMer, he probably knows lots of people), talked to some of his MLM buddies to come to the websites and give him a bunch of 5 star reviews.

Summary: Inspiring and Very Insightful!
Review: I don't normally finish many of the books I purchase or borrow. I get to a point where I understand the ideas and then loose interest due to a redundancy of the main theme. However, Mr. Poe's book is much different and as soon as I received this book, I finished it in two evenings. It was that good. At least for me. I enjoyed this book for two simple reasons:

1. Mr. Poe qualifies all the ideas he presents, with a "field tested," "tried and true," real life story from a third party. The people Mr. Poe interviewed also revealed how they arrived at their solutions, and where new network marketers can expect to find difficulty. This helps shatter the illusion that you have to be a "special-breed" to succeed in network marketing, when in reality you only need a burning desire.

2. There are surprises in every chapter and new spins on common problems. Using the interview style offers the reader many interesting details about some very successful network marketers that they probably wouldn't know otherwise. The many different ways that people become successful in different companies and from different backgrounds, constantly kept me interested.

The genuine nature of this book truly inspired me, and helped me overcome the preliminary pitfalls of network marketing. Your success is one book away!

Summary: Excellent resource for anyone thinking of joining a MLM
Review: This book provides valuable background information on multilevel marketing for someone contemplating this type of home business. In addition, it realistically portrays traits that are required to succeed. The accounts of previous experiences and how people struggled to be successful are of interest to a beginner in MLM. The practical applications and suggestions are beneficial to building a profitable downline. Anyone not willing to follow these suggestions will encounter unnecessary difficulties. There are many examples of people who have paved the way for MLM as it is today. The theme of the whole book is to provide a realistic picture of the pitfalls and benefits to be expected. Like anything else in life, if you are not willing to learn from others, you will make the same mistakes. This book provides helpful information for those who are willing to learn.

Summary: Another Poe winner!
Review: This book was no where near as good as Poe's first Wave 3. Very shallow. If you are serious about the industry, spend your money on Mark Yarnell's new book, Your First Year in Network Marketing. It's truly outstanding!
