Review: Written in 1982, this book was given to me as a Christmas gift back in 1984, so it came as somewhat of a surprise when I found it on our required reading list when I was studying personal finance with Primerica in 1995. The book is absolutely full of outstanding advice and is written so that the average reader can comprehend it. One of the areas that I was especially impressed with was the keen insight on life insurance. Yes, dull, boring life insurance. If you are still into any type of whole or universal life policy, you need to read this book. If you are planning your finances, I believe there are many books out there that are fine, but this is one of the few that really gives proper attention to a very important part of your financial picture. It is out of print right now, but if you can get your hands on a copy, the info is still quite relevant for today's readers.
