Rating: Summary: The best I've read so far! Review: Here is my opinion of "Trading from the Inside".... I was introduced to the world of commodities about a year and a half ago and have bought a dozen books and courses on the subjest. Some were good, some okay, some will serve well as fire starter in an emergency kit for a vehicle (TWMPMM burns real well, did I say that out loud?). They claim that the world of commodities is either the easiest way you can make a living in the world or drowned the ordinary lay person with page upon page of jargon and monotony. Finally a book written by someone who is not only down-to-earth but who communicates his knowledge in an easy to understand format. This is the first book on the subject that I can honestly say I am looking forward to reading a second time. Well done Mr. Kellogg!
Rating: Summary: First Notice Day Review: I have been reading the book by Joseph Kellogg "Trading from the INSIDE" I am reading it over for the 2nd time and really like it a lot and the second time around makes more sence now! I really like the part about the First Day Notice Slammer and it really proved to be true this week especially in the grains!!
Rating: Summary: $3000.00 Since Tuesday and its only Thursday Review: I received this book on the evening of Monday March 15 2004. I finished the first reading by Wednesday afternoon and started reading through the book the second time. I have now completed reading the book twice. I can't put it down. This book has become my new bible on how to trade futures and what to look for. I have made over $3,000.00 on paper since Tuesday and today is only Thursday and the markets haven't closed yet!! This is the most concise to the point no bull just the facts book about what to look for when trading futures. I can hardly wait for my simulator program so I can start paper trading on the simulator. If there was one thing about this book, I didn't like it would be the fact that I didn't get to read it sooner. This is literally a treasure chest full of information. After reading the book all of a sudden the markets seem to make sense to me. Not just what to look for to make a trade but why the market is going in that direction. It's as if I have seen a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes. I have no interest in this book or writing this review other then to let people know what power this book holds for the reader. I have traded futures before and of course lost money but never knew why. It was staring me in the face and I didn't see it. All of sudden it makes perfect sense. Like I said I have made over $3000.00 since Tuesday on paper using just one of the signals he teaches in the book and the markets haven't closed yet. I guess that's my proof of what this book can do for you. There is no question that this book has found a permanent home on my desk. Raymond B Tennant London Ontario Canada
Rating: Summary: trading from the inside works ! Review: Since using Joe's book, my profits have more than tripled in 6 weeks. This book is a must read for serious traders looking to build enormous wealth quickly and relatively safely. It is true, clear, concise, to the point, and above all easy to understand. Clear examples demonstrate how to take immediate action on. As Joe has his own brokerage, and has learned the ropes many years, he has written this book as a true trader trades. This book years ago would have saved me much frustration. But better late than never ! Way to go, Joe !
Rating: Summary: Trading from the Inside Review: The book holds easily believable information and thus it is simple to follow with bits of wit to bring it to life. Quite a pleasure to read and it especially instilled confidence in my own ability to make the trading of commodities a personal success. (I would like to look over his shoulder when he is trading!)
