Review: A friend bought this book in Cleveland and suggested I purchase it right away. I was skeptical about yet another job book, but was totally surprised. It's smart and funny and it's literally filled with hundreds (many more) ideas on how to find a REAL job. I have already mapped out a plan and I'm ready to go. After a devastating layoff, this book has given me the energy to get out there and find my dream job. If I follow the book's instructions, I know I'll find one in no time!!

Review: I've been unemployed for months. I'd read every book on job-hunting strategies, and nothing seemed to hit home. But, after reading WOMEN FOR HIRE last weekend, I really felt this book was written for me! I realized that I really need to work on networking -- all the guys do it, but women just seem to avoid it. But this book gave me some great strategies I'll be able to do right away! Even though I'm really shy. The book proves that you can be shy but still be a savvy networker! As well, I learned about informational interviews and will start taking advantage of those more often. Sad but true: it's who you know, not what you know. Women: go out and read this book.
