Review: In The Denial of Death, Ernest Becker observes that no one can deny physical death. However, there is another death which can be denied: The death which occurs when we become wholly preoccupied with fulfilling others' expectations of us. Vincent Roazzi agrees. In this remarkable book, he candidly reviews his life and shares the lessons he has learned from it thus far. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he joined a gang and became a car thief. Later, he became involved with family-owned businesses and enjoyed great financial success. By age 32, he had become addicted to cocaine and gambling. His addictions threatened his marriage and his relations with five children. He was broke and on welfare. At age 36, he decided that he had two choices: enter a rehabilitation program or commit suicide. He chose the former and began to rebuild his life. Eventually, he became wealthy as a salesperson with the Cornerstone organization with which he continues to share what he has learned about personal development and professional achievement. He has paid a substantial "tuition" for the "education" gained over several decades of both success and failure. Like most other people, he seems to have learned the most valuable lessons from his failures. The most important of these lessons -- directly or indirectly -- reveal and indeed celebrate the importance of spiritual nourishment. The title of the book correctly indicates how important spiritual values are to Roazzi. For him, the most successful people are those who have gained much of what the material world has to offer without losing their soul. Those who share my high regard for this book are urged to read Maister's Practice What You Preach, Whyte's The Heart Aroused, and Sanders' Love Is the Killer App.

Review: It's about time that a book has been written that helps people tap into the passions, gifts and skills they already possess. Mr. Roazzi provides procedures that help unleash these gifts to accomplish what your true desires are...not, what you're expected to be. Mr. Roazzi shows everyone that we have two lives: the life we're programmed to be, and the life we truly desire. I have spent many years helping people by starting with skills they already possess and love using, rather than learning to be something they're expected to be. It is at this level that lasting success is achieved.
If you want to learn how to succeed, be happy at what you succeed at, and have that success be a natural way of life, then this is a must read book.
I warn you though, if you really want success in your life, come prepared to be honest and get results.

Review: Mr. Roazzi not only teaches you about success, but also yourself, and how to allow yourself to grow.
This is a great book! I'm sending it to all my friends and relatives this year. I can't think of a better gift to give than the ability to learn not only who you are, but what to do once you figure that out.
Make sure and stop and do the excersises when he instructs you to do it the lessons are invaluable!

Review: Prior to reading Vinny's book, I never would have even ventured outside my "box". Vinny's book helped me to understand why I was the person I was and put me in touch with the real "self" that was in there all along. Although I'm still a long way from my newly-inspired personal goals, I'm no longer restricted by the person life trained me to be. The person I was born to be is a much stronger, more confident me and is starting to become more and more evident every day. Having had the pleasure to meet Vinny, I know these words come from deep within him. This book is NOT hype! Get this book! Read it! Find that successful person you were meant to be and never look back!
