Rating: Summary: Nice job for newer traders - well written and organized Review: Toni has done a nice job of walking new traders through the basics they need to gain a solid understanding of active stock trading. We recommend this title for our new traders at the online Daytrading University.Of all the introductory books out there, Toni's written one that gives solid information, and is a bargain. Experienced traders are advised to get titles by Tony Oz and Barry Rudd. Nice work, a good read and useful reference.

I have read many other books, but her book is different, and i am glad i read her book! She starts with the basics of trading and explains everything in detail. She also teaches the basics of candlestick charting which I found very interesting! She also explains how to use many other important indicators. And for the price this book sells, it is a STRONG BUY!
Rating: Summary: Beginners Guide to Daytrading Online Review: The most important thing to say about The Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online is Ms. Turner's ability to make technical analysis of stocks easily understood. This is a feat difficult for the majority of authors writing today about day trading...and I have read alot of books about this subject. The bottom line to any of these books is do they help make you a better trader. From my personal trading experience, this book helps me trade better. Of the traders I know who are profitable most use alot of the techniques explained in her book, whether they have read it or not.
Rating: Summary: Review Review: Reading "A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online" just after completing a manuscript based on interviews with 15 of the country's best traders, I was struck by the remarkable similarities between Turner's trading advice and the market methodologies and philosophies of these exceptional performers. It was almost as if Turner had read my manuscript. (of course, she hadn't.) Although I can't promise aspiring traders that reading this book will guarantee their success in the markets, I am comfortable assuring them that it will reduce the inevitable losses during the novice phase and shorten the path to trading success. All in all, Turner has done a commendable job of providing sound, real-world trading advice and ideas in language accessible to the beginning trader. Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: As a "rookie" to daytrading, I needed something to help me learn how NOT to lose money. This book has helped me to do that AND to, strangely enough...feel good about myself too. It's mix of philosophy and the mechanics of using technical analysis such as charts, software, and the like while trading, have only whetted my appetite for more knowledge on both subjects. The price is excellent for the knowledge it disposes. And for those who say it doesn't teach you enough...well, it's title IS "A Beginners Guide.."!
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: The BEST guide I've come across so far! The only minor disadvantage is the the Charts and Figures aren't on the page with the text that describes them.
Rating: Summary: This book really helped me get started on the right foot Review: This book helped me get started in daytrading easily and quickly. This book gave actual hands-on experience of what the author has done. I would recommend this book for anyone who is clueless in the world of daytrading.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book for the new day trader Review: Excellent written book for the new day trader (and all of us who need to refresh after some losing trades!). Basics are well covered....Each section has a wonderful after chapter insights to keep you sane while trading. Buy it! I hope she writes another.
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Piece of Work Review: I am an information system developer who has been required to write and wade through millions of pages of technical and user documentation over the last 20 years. I am also an active trader who has reviewed at least 500 trading books. The vast majority of trading books I have read are difficult to read and understand. Unlike those books, this book offers some of the clearest technical descriptions that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It is by all measures, an excellent piece of work.
Rating: Summary: GREAT content, POOR illustrations Review: This book is definitely worth buying. I was not happy with the illustrations, they were of poor quality. The ideas are great, but the delivery is poor at best. Hopefully the publishers will do something about it in the future. Simply put, you can't respect a book that feels cheap in your hands. Unfortunately, it takes away from the author's hard work. I give the author 5 stars and the publishers 1 star. Consequently, (5+1)/2 = 3 Stars.
