Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Searing insight into the day to day life of a epileptic.
Review: If you have any pre-conceptions about this genre, the often dull, introverted and prosaic accounts of a private disease, this astonishing volume will make you think again. The blazing honesty, and fresh comment on such a misunderstood life is like nothing I have ever seen before.

From the first paragraph I started to feel that I had connected with the author on a very human level. Teresa McLean makes no attempt to appear pretentious or attract your sympathy, only her simple and endearing perspective is provided.

The experiences of this woman, shed not only a wonderful light on a special human being, but all those who know her and are close to her. the mind boggles at the solidarity of the bonds between this family, the intensity of feeling that is needed to cope with the affliction

This book has given me a new perspective, on not only those with dehabilitating illness, but on my soul.
