Summary: Amazing and insightful
Review: I love this book. It is exactly what I have been wanting, and is what the "Uppity Women" series should have been. Each chapter has a one paragraph summary of the woman, followed by a four or six page essay about her life. All well-written and very entertaining, and I love that they give you more information than just one paragraph.

Review: This is the best book from the Mammoth Book series. I really enjoyed reading this book and the I am now full of admiration for the women featured. As a man, I would love to read more books like this.
