Rating: Summary: Atrotious Imitation Review: Roaring Silence is a "good idea" that simply did not work. A valient idea that requires sharper focus.... at best a sad shadow of it's potential. The book focuses on the bizarre politics of European Martial Arts & Martial Artists through one mans experiences thereof. The book attempts to describe the intriguing training experience(s) of a martial artist. A subject not covered well since C.W. Nicol's account, decades ago. Yet, in spite of the "desire" not one single page is memorable even moments after it was read. On a scale of 1 to ten... this one rates negative numbers !
