Weirsbe helps us to see these believers as they really were. He shows us their struggles and their victories. Included are evagelists and Christian works of the past few hundred years. Included are people like Moody, Wycliff, Taylor and Muller. Each person's story is presented in a short-story format. Weirsbe also provides suggestions for further reading to explore the person more in depth. This book is an enjoyable and easy read. This book provided me with a realistic and personal look at Christian heros of the church's past.
