Summary: Wapner's book speaks to everyone. Read it!
Review: From the first page Mickey Wapner's dramatic story grabbed my attention. It was an "I can't put it down" book. How she turned a near death experience into an inspriational book for women shows real guts and compassion. I learned how to reduce stress in my life and how to make myself healthier & happier. It gave medical information I understand. It is a book with universal appeal to women of all ages and their families. I loved and recommend it to your readers.

Summary: Wapner's book speaks to everyone. Read it!
Review: When Mickey Wapner says in "Women at Risk of Heart Attack" that she spent her life worrying about cancer, and never thinking about heart disease, I was right there with her. Who would have thought that so many women die of heart disease? After reminding of the prevalent myth that "heart attacks don't happen to women", Wapner shares her own story, proving that heart disease is a very real threat. She has an amazing story to tell. She takes the reader through the hours before her heart attack, the moment it happens and the long recovery afterwards. One can't help but be caught up in the terror of the moment. By doing this, Wapner made sure that I would listen to her advice about how to change my life so the same thing wouldn't happen to me. I'm a high stress person, and I would recommend this book to ANYONE who experiences stress too. Her book is a reminder to us all that life is short -- and precious.
