Summary: Great World War II Book!
Review: This is a great read for anyone learning about or interested in World War Two. It was written by a veteran who saw action in two continents, participated in two D-Day invasions, and fought in 7 major campaigns. The book takes the reader through the daily lives of these young men during an unspeakable time, but also shows a much lighter side of things. The strength and character of the author and other soldiers is amazing. George Flynn is a true hero and member of our Greatest Generation. Books such as this one help their stories live on.
