Review: A must read book!!! This book will keep you rolling! Even if you have never lived on a ranch before, you will now understand the trials of every day ranch life. Through a ranch wifes eyes. Jean does a great job with the glossary, and the over-all telling of these great stories. I really felt like I was part of it.

Summary: Enjoyable, Unique and Readable Book
Review: Many in this sophisticated world never read the "real" stuff of ranching and cowboy life. It's nothing like "Dallas" or the rich Texas cattlemen Oprah fought. Jean Bowser depicts a life full of richness. While pay and appreciative ranch owners may be scarce, and the work hard, the author conveys a love of family, the character of the livestock and animals they work with, and the allure of living close to the land. And she does it with insight, warmth and humor. I believe even a city-dweller reader will laugh and empathize with "Such is the life of a Cowboy's Wife."
