Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Working Over Time
Review: If you've ever worked in a "support" capacity --- as a secretary or an administrative assistant --- this book is a MUST read! Extremely well-written and entertaining. The author chronicles her "real life" adventures as an assistant to management with humor, dramatic flair, and a razor-sharp wit. Bad (as in incompetent) bosses, beware! Ms. Carroll has your number and if you're not careful, you'll be disconnected. The appeal of this book is universal....no matter what your profession. I ended up reading far into the night -- I simply could not put it down. I laughed, I cried, and in the end cheered the author for her ultimate success in the workplace and in life. Memo to readers everywhere: Buy this book and be prepared to thoroughly enjoy it. It might not change your life, but it will make your job description a lot more fun!
