Rating: Summary: Washington - The Depressed President? Review: The book was an intriguing read. The story flowed very well and was well written. But that's just what it was a story. Emery does not seem to mind if some of her facts get twisted or maligned in order to fit her thesis. She attempts to knock Washington from his legendary status. Throughout the book, Washington is constantly described as depressed, ambitious, almost weak-minded. If you want to read something that is most likely contrary to how you perceive GW, then this is the book for you.
