Rating: Summary: WORTH READING Review: This is a memoir of a life-long journey into the Presbyterian ministry which spans the fifty years since women were allowed to be ordained as clergy in 1956. The author was a theological student that year but had no idea of ever becoming a minister. Life had a way of happening however and in 1977 it became a reality. The trip along the way tells about reactions and realities some funny some serious including work in a prison, a farming community and places like San Francisco, New Mexico, Idaho and Utah.
