Summary: A colorful desentent of the Great Cherokee Nation!
Review: "A bright and colorful descendant of the great Cherokee Nation, Gayle Crause has collected rare memories of her past and unforgettable accounts of early life with lasting and current meanings. She vividly describes in her unusal language and interesting style, stories of family connections to the great earth with a deep love of Mother Nature and the Water of Life. Red Roots is a reverent path of Native American Spirituality; yet, not so deeply spiritual as to keep its stories from being easily readable, fun and intriguing for everyone. Highly entertaining and recommended.

Summary: A Warm And Wonderful Experience To Read.
Review: This book is wonderful. I am also Native American, and not having been raised in my heritage, I can identify with Ms. Crause and her struggle to find the truth and then to learn about her heritage. Reading her book is such a joy to read. because you feel as if you are hearing her story from her personally. I am looking forward to any other books which she might write in the future. I have to say "Thank you, Gayle" for bringing to the public a part of what it means to find out that you are Native American and the joy of discovering your heritage and culture.
