Review: Wow!! I don't know how else to describe this book. The author was the keynote speaker at a charity event that I attended for an abused women's shelter. I really didn't have any interest in the Mafia, but bought the book to contribute to the cause. Skimming through it, I found myself getting sucked into the story with every page I open to. I finally just started from the beginning. Once I did, I could not put it down. I read it straight through in a day and a half. I canceled all of my pressing obligations and just let my phone ring. I have never been so clued to a book before in my life.

The story covers everything that makes for an exciting life. Modeling, Mafia, Hollywood Celebrities, Abuse, Drugs, Stalking, and Stunts! There is something in this book to wet everyone's appetite. I found myself relating to things in my own life that touched me deeply and opened my eyes to the why's of my past. I felt a personal connection to the author. Her style of writting makes one feel you are sitting across the table from her as she tells you her life story. She made me laugh out loud, cry at times and even get angry. The emotional rollercoaster ride this book took me on was amazing. Needless to say, this book was not only a good read but also made me look at life from a different perspective.

I have never taken the time to write a review before. The Company She Keeps moved me so much that I had to share my thoughts. I didn't want it to end. If you enjoy reading, (and even if you don't) buy this book! If Amazon allowed for a ten star rating, I'd give it an eleven!
