Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Quoted in the book...
Review: A Gentleman Drunk gives a real life view of the emotional pain and difficulties suffered by alcoholics and people with various addictions. It shows how some alcoholics can appear to 'have it all' and keep their lives seemingly moving along while really teetering on the edge of personal destruction. Thank you Jeffrey for sharing your story so others may see that they are not alone and help is available if they will ssek it and ask for it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Right to the point!
Review: An easy read with a clear, to the point, message. Jeffrey's reflections on his life as a functioning alcoholic in the corporate world as well as his road to recovery really hit close to home.

Summary: A Gentleman Drunk
Review: Jeffrey Taylor's "A Gentleman Drunk" was so incredibly fascinating and fast-paced I read it in one evening. So many of our stories are in this wonderful sharing of a heart and soul that was in such racking pain. I plan to re-read this on a less excited basis, again and again. Thank you, Jeffrey, for your sincerity and demonstrating how we sufferers can survive this mixed curse and blessing.

Summary: A Frank Look At Life
Review: This book is a frank and open look at the life of an alcoholic. It is an easy read with chapters going chronologically from the author's childhood through his life up to the end of his first year of sobriety. The author shows us his humanity, courage and faith through the difficult path of self-discovery. This is a wonderful book that will help anyone see that they are not alone in this process and that a way back is well within reach. Well done, Jeffrey!
