Summary: INTERESTING
Review: Amber Frey's book gives insight into the person she is. She deserves everything she earns from writing the book. For people who watched the case & trial closely, I highly recommend the book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: My Thoughts
Review: I read this book overnight. I knew mostly everything that was in it. Amber tries to clear her name on just about every page. Lot's of God this and Bible that. I feel it is non sense that Laci's pictures are on the cover. Amber Frey did go through alot and it took alot of courage for her to help in this case. I don't think Scott Peterson would have been convicted without Amber's help. So Bravo Amber you did a Good JOB! Meaning you! Take Laci's pictures of your covers. I suggest you get this book at the library or used. Or just check out Court TV all the phone calls are on there.

Summary: Laci Is The Victim ~Not Amber!
Review: I was getting ill from reading the book but couldn't put it down out of pure shock.Amber tries to pass herself off as a 'victim' but she's anything but ~ She is a woman I don't know but everyone has seen her kind at work, she believes the world
owes her something even at the expense of a lovely murdered
mother-to-be.I don't know how anybody could be so heartless as
to believe she needs all money made from the sales.Laci's
family deserves the money and much more respect than Amber gives them. They lost their loved one!~ time for Amber to put
her selfish needs aside and think of someone else for a change.
Amber comes across as an opportunist, someone who sucks the life force out of a man or situation then leaves after she gets what she wants. It comes across how no man is 'good' enough for her because she's needy and void of any ability to have a real
relationship. She doesn't come across as very bright,ie Oprah and in need of Allred talking for her when she doesn't understand the question.I got so sick of her 'poor me' rubbish, hmmm did she forget who the real victim is?She has had her fifteen minutes of fame. Now time to remember Laci and allow Amber to fade into that dark part of human history we find on
racks on the way out the of grocery line.

Summary: Over and over again
Review: If you like reading the same thing over and over again, this is the book for you. In Witness, For the Prosection of Scott Peterson, the author Amber Frey describes her relationship with Scott Peterson. She tells of the telephone conversations between the two and how he has affected her life. Amber is in connection with the Modesto Police Department trying to get information to them about Scott having a connection to the murder of his pregnant wife Laci and his unborn child Conner. I would recommend this book if you were not able to follow the trial in the beginning.

Summary: VERY INTERSETING
Review: Ok, first of all I want to say this book was very interesting. At times it did get boring, because it seemed like in every chapter scoot and amber had the same discussion, trying to determine whether or not Scott killed Laci. At first I didn't really think this issues was a major problem, I never really paid attention to it. I don't understand how you could kill somebody and then act normal likes its nothing. This book is good if you like mystery. It keeps you wondering.

Summary: Scott Peterson Will Never Again Be Without A Boyfriend
Review: The book was an easy read and filled with information that most of us could have learned from a one hour presentation by Nancy Grance or Crier on Court TV. Amber Frey plays victim and to some accounts I don't disagree. However, I find it interesting that while she was so focused on "To Tell The Truth And Nothing But The Truth", she someone found time to work out a great book deal and to coordinate this with her attorney, Gloria A.

For those who have interest in this horrid case of absolute abuse of power and eventual murder and for those who think that Amber is such the victim, you'll find this book to be quite interesting. I'd keep if off the table or counter and out of reach of children or anyone that you really care about. This is not a book that should be read by anyone other than post-General Hospital crazed people with little else to do than read about one woman who seems to glorify in that she was involved with a killer.

I hope you can sleep at night Ms. Frey. I was sorry for you, from the bottom of my heart, until I learned that you were working on this book while appearing in a California Courthouse in a murder trial. Could you not have waited a year to tell your side of the story. I'm sure Ms. Gloria will keep your rights protected. But how can you sleep at night?

Grade Level 4 Reading.
Stick to Massage Therapy-a decent profession. Don't write anymore books-just my opinion. NO RATING.

Summary: Oh, Amber, what a dim wit!
Review: The book was badly written and the focus on trying to make you think Amber is a holy roller beyond reproach is obvious.

Proof of what an Idiot this woman is:
Exhibit 1: You meet a guy on a BLIND DATE, that NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT, no background, no family, no friends, nothing, they know nothing about him, and by the second date YOU HAVE HIM GO PICK UP YOUR DAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL, ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH!

Other than making her look like an idiot who can recite biblical passages but can still make every bad decision in the book (just how many times can a woman really get PG by mistake-It's called Birth Control Amber, USE IT!) there really isn't much else to this book.

As for Scott, well her helping the police was commendable, and the right thing to do. She really was suckered in by him, and played the fool, and could possibly have been in danger due to her brush with the sociopath, but man, I believe Scott read the sucker sign on her forehead and couldn't believe his luck.

I do thank her for her role in putting such a horrible man away, allowing justice to be serve. If not for Amber Frey, that probably would not have happened, BUT writing a tell all book about her angle on it may not have been the best thing for her to do. I thought a lot more of her BEFORE reading the book.

She's just a silly little girl who allows men to control her life. Sad. I might have forgiven her if the book was more interesting, but it wasn't.

Summary: plain and simple
Review: The first day I got the book I was very anxious to read it. I was disappointed with how short it was. I would have liked more detail about her thoughts and feelings toward this whole tragedy. I agree that it was a rushed book!! I would also like to thank Amber for having the courage and strength to hold it together for as long as she did. Laci & her baby were the biggest victims but Amber was a victim too. Scott lied every which way. Although she (Amber) may have been naive and too trusting I do believe she really thought Scott was the one for her. Scott fooled a lot of people for years before Amber came into the picture. She was chosen for whatever reason to be the one to put a stop to Scott Peterson. Laci trusted him and so did every one else. Scott is where he is because of his own actions and no one elses......

Summary: My Thoughts....
Review: This was one of very few books that I could actually get into. I think this was a very interesting and informative book. It explains Amber Frey's feelings and what she goes through during the case. I have much respect for Amber and her strength and courage for doing what she did. Not many people would be able to go through with it. I definately would recommend this book

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Inarticulate
Review: Witness provides many answers, inadvertently at Amber's expense. For example, Amber's letter to Scott, along with her testimony to police -- both printed verbatim -- paint a picture of a person who speaks and writes incoherently.

Amber's concern for Laci and Connor, in my opinion, was disingenuous. Perhaps if Amber had a history of helping strangers, i.e. volunteering to find missing children or helping battered women, we could be convinced of her empathy and compassion. Instead, we're presented with details of how naive and (sexually) impulsive she was.

I do believe that in the spiritual sense, Amber did serve as the voice for Laci, playing a pivotal role in the prosecution of Scott. I just wish we could give Amber more credit for this.

All in all, the book is a quick, easy read. Do I believe Amber did most of the writing? No!
