Petzoldt is a fascinating character whose breezy anecdotes say a lot about the development of Wyoming in the early part of the century, about human nature, what it means to be an adventurer, and even a little about class struggle in our supposedly classless society. It's a quick read I think climbers and non-climbers alike will enjoy.
