Review: A well written book that depicts the "standard issue" life of the common marine during Desert Storm and in our present day military. No big battles, guts or glory. Just reality. Highly recommended for anybody wanting to get the "true" picture of military life.

What set this book apart from most of its type was how Sean opened the door to his insides and allowed us to see what was really going on with him, regardless if he thought it would make good storytelling.

A strong first showing for Mr. Caughlin.
