Review: After reading this book, I was amazed that the events in the main character's life were so familiar to my own life as an American born East Indian. This book was a very easy read that portrays the struggles and blessings of being a 1st generation Indian living in the America. It also allows the non-Indian to learn more about the culture and gives a different perspective that many will find refreshing and intriguing. Definitely a great book to read or to add to one's book club!
