Summary: Bittersweet Sorrows
Review: Ganious takes me on a journey through the evolution of a boy, a son and a man. Throughout the book, he depicts the bitter pain and sorrow of growing up in NY. Simultaneously, he reflects lessons learned as sweet and priceless. Scars and wounds that he touches gentlely and carefully guides the reader through his past. Finally he emerges through has a stronger individual that appreciates his beautiful life. As commonly said, "Only through losing it all. Does one learns to appreciate one has." His writing is exciting. It tickles the readers' brain with all senses of touch, smell, sounds, taste and sight of his memories. I certainly appreciate his extension of himself to us.

Summary: What a Ride!
Review: The Third Rail is a book that makes you feel as if you are in Ganious' world, in his head and in his heart. I cannot imagine going through what he went through as a child and then as a man. I found myself yelling at the "book" when one of his friends did something stupid. Holding my breath when Ganious (the boy) questions his mother's next step. And then holding back tears during those last mother-son moments. I applaud his honesty and his ability to pull the reader into his life. Buy it.Read it. Then read it again. You'll love it just like I do.
