Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Emotionally challenging
Review:
The Infinite is a story centered around a Mr. Anthony Scarelli, who apparently asked everyone to put their life on hold while he lived his.
We are taken into the journals, the heart and the mind of Alex, a woman, who joined her spirit to Anthony with deep love, but never was allowed the luxury of total commitment and security in that relationship.
It appeared that was all most of those who were part of his life received, including his children and his wife.
At the end of his life he tries to bring some form of reconciliation in so many areas of his life. Some still make excuses for him, others harbor the hurt he brought, others echo through eternity the love they feel.
If I were asked to give an account of what this story was about I would have to say it certainly would depend on who was telling the story. It is a complex, layered story that is best unraveled by the reader themselves, not by the reviewer.
One I feel that can be deeply disturbing and emotionally challenging, yet deep seated in eternal love that cannot be explained in practical moral living. The Infinite is a story with a myriad of emotions, a story of love, of loss and of eternity.
