Review: With memoir such a hot category for publishers and booksellers these days, you'd think this would be a natural to bring back in print. It is one of the most delightful, funny and charming memoirs I've ever read. It's must reading for anyone who's grown up in California -- or would like to have. Theroux is simply a terrific writer. Get this book used, by auction, through the library, whatever -- it's fabulous, and one you'll want to read over and over again.
