Rating: Summary: Robert Frost: A Life was a thoroughly revealing story. Review: Robert Frost: A Life is a thoroughly revealing story of Frost's life. It reveals the parts of his life leading the reader to understand the why's and wherefore's of his poems. I was first seriously introduced to Frost in college when doing a paper centering on three of his most popular works: "Mending Wall", "Two Tramps in Mudtime", and "After Apple Picking". The only "criticism" that I might have of Mr. Parini's book is that it goes into more detail of the poems which intrudes upon the smooth flow of the actual telling of Frost's life.
