Summary: Attila, a blight upon the world
Review: Attlia the Hun, born into a warring tribe, and growing up to become King, is a military leader almost unmatched in history. His daring raids, with him in front show his nerve. He was not afraid of death from an arrow, he believed in destiny taking his life when it would. But, destiny worked in stange ways for Attila. Just when it seemed as though his forces would conqure the known world, he died of gluttony. His massive forces he united under his flag scattered like leaves in a wind, leaving Rome free, for a little while at least.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Attila & Other Nomads
Review: This book (Attila the Hun) is exactly the same book as Attila and the Nomad Hordes. It just has a different cover.

Buyer beware: DO NOT purchase the combined "deal" of both books unless you really fancy having the same book twice but with different covers.

The book is an excellent starting point for students of military history interested in the nomad hordes from the Hsiung-nu to the Mongols.
