Summary: Well worth reading for many reasons!
Review: The truth in this book was difficult to read. I wanted to turn away many times but keep reading, eventually I understood ... I was reading about things I needed to face in my own life. Trula wrote in a way I could comprehend and believe even when I was in crisis.

If you think you or someone you love might be struggling with surviving early childhood abuse, that they survived by pulling the memory curtain and developed multiple personalities, read this book!

As a society, we are instantly afraid of people with multiple personalities, or disbelieve them, but we seldom think to be afraid of someone with amnesia who has managed to start a new life without knowing their past. There is little difference. I know because "I" consist of about 32 of "Us." We were abuse at the baby-sitter's house, however we all grew up to be gentle, considerate, respectful, very sad, confused people that wanted to die and go to heaven. We did not know we had been abused. We survived the trauma of the abuse in the same way we are all designed to manage great trauma, we got amnesia. We just had to do it over and over again.

Ignorance is much more dangerous than knowledge. We have never harmed ourselves or anyone else. I recommend reading this book!
