Review: Dr Sweeney's book is divided into two readable sections--17 short anncedotes and 6 Q&A chapters. A memorable book--I read this book in 1979 and have unhesitatingly recommended it ever since. The stories are topical (birth control, cesarians, cancer, menopose, etc,) often poignant, frequently humorous, and capture the urgancy and drama of this taxing occupation.
