Rating: Summary: simple, but not very professional Review: I found this book to be a very simple adaptation of Adler's counseling theory. It was a brief , general overview of an otherwise complex theory. While reading the book, however, I found it difficult to overlook the obvious errors in spelling and grammer that were prevalent throughout.
Rating: Summary: simple, but not very professional Review: The cartoon-ish format is nice to begin with, but the book goes a little too much into Adler's personal saga: his marriage, his fights with Freud, etc. I would have preferred more details of his perspectives on the human mind.
Rating: Summary: Good--not great--primer on Alerian Psychology Review: The cartoon-ish format is nice to begin with, but the book goes a little too much into Adler's personal saga: his marriage, his fights with Freud, etc. I would have preferred more details of his perspectives on the human mind.
Rating: Summary: Scattered Review: Unlike most of the Beginners Series, this is a very poor study and introduction to Adler. As previously mentioned in another review, there were several typos throughout the text (I stopped counting at 13 in only 150 pages). Also, the work focused upon his Adler's life and relation to Freud for a majority of the time versus Adler's work.
