Summary: Wonderful - great time saver!
Review: Michael Allen has done a great service to parents and teachers everywhere. His outline of 17 Vision books includes the following pertinent information on each book: Overview of the Saint's Life (great for parents who don't have time to read every book that their child reads), Chapter Vocabulary, Language in Context (meaningful quotes from the story - great for copywork), Time Line (including events in the saint's life and in general history), Outline Maps (list of regions included in book, not the maps themselves), Topics for Written Reports (great for discussions, narrations, and making connections throughout all of history), Biographical Sketches (of real-life people included in the story), Turning to Scripture and the Catechism (references to applicable Bible and Catechism passages that relate to the story), and Class Discussion Questions (includes chapter references where the answer may be found). Whew! This book is a terrific resource for anyone reading the Vision books. I highly recommend it and can't wait for the next volume!
