Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I can't praise this book high enough!
Review: An excellent book! The author describes both general themes and very specific language and behavior patterns that made Virginia Satir's work so effective. There is also a transcription of a complete Virginia's session, with a running commentary from the author. It makes all those themes and patterns very clear to a reader. I can't think of a better learning tool!

If you are a psychotherapist of any school or orientation, you should read this book to learn the ways of one of the greatest therapists of the 20-th century. If you are into NLP, you should read it to find a fine example of modelling. If you are interested in Virginia Satir's work, then you have already read it, haven't you?
