Summary: Now, This is body of church age!
Review: This is a wonderful and excellent book for us who have a pure heat to persue personal spiritual and life growth.
Now, This is a body of church age! We not need body buildings but personal truely life. This is a good guide for not noly distinguishing fresh, soul, and spirit; but reality for life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An eye openner. Thanks God!
Review: This is an important book. Very important indeed for it can change your Christian life for better and for good. This is a handbook on spiritual discernment so needed to His people in our times of deception. It teaches Christians to live spiritually and not carnally or soulishly. It shows the wall of the great divide between the carnal and the spiritual and how many Christians live on the carnal side deceiving themselves about own spirituality. Read it carefully, prayfully. And it will strengthen the most important relationship of your life - relationship of your regenerated spirit with the Spirit of the Holly One. It exposes complex subjects of Biblical anthropology (relationship between spirit, soul and body) in an easy to understand and exegetically sound manner. In fact, I think this is one of the best expositions available on the subject. More importantly, this is an utterly practical book. In addition to "what" (i.e. the theory) it teaches the "how" (i.e. the practice) on the areas which are the most fundamental for our Christian lives. Among them: What is my self and how to deny it? How to distinguish my own voice from the voice of God? How to put off the carnal man applying His cross and putting to death the body of sin? How to live a resurrected life of victory in Christ and walk in the Spirit.

Summary: What The Pulpit Should Be Teaching
Review: When we remove the fear from our lives, we are more able to look within ourselves to see the truth. Truth is the essence of what we all seek. Watchman Nee takes you to those places you do not wish to journey to show you why you must make this journey. If you don't want your life to be happier, healthier, more spiritually fulfilling then pass on this book. It is not easy; but it is not difficult once you begin the process as Nee outlines the course to follow. You just proceed one step at a time as you are able. Do the work and your life will change and people will see the change and wonder, maybe even marvel that you are transformed. But that transformation comes only through the Love and healing of Christ Jesus in the Holy Spirit. Secularists will also benefit from this book because it deals with the fundamentals of human frailty, exposing the lie of our own deceptions we play out day after day. The "process" is a life-long commitment to be the person you aspire to be. But if you are not whole within, you will not be fulfilled in life. To borrow an old Chinese proverb: If you don't like the way you're going, change direction. Watchman Nee facilitates that change in a way modern teachers have abandoned, favouring "feel good" and "prosperity" philosophy as more satisfying. The problem is, these forms of life affirmation are hollow and lose their lustre very quickly because they don't deal with core issues we all have to address if we want to be truly, genuinely happy. It's like, you can clean the outside of the cup, but the inside will still be full of filth. But if you clean the inside of the cup, the outside will also become clean. That's what this book addresses, making healthy the inner being that the outer being may also be healthy. A healthy life is truly a happier life.
