Summary: Great . . .The true stories behind the corporate myths!
Review: I found Gelbert's book to be a fascinating read. He obviously did his research, but also added an enriching human element to tell the story of companies that are today a part of the American fabric. I think that this book will serve as inspiration to many entrepreneurs as well as young companies going through growing pains. I look forward to Gelbert's next book with anticipation!

Summary: an interesting and unique collection of information
Review: The short, to-the-point stories of America's greatest business people are a great source of inspiration to me. I've just started two companies, on a shoestring and no experience, but with great determination. Doug Gelbert does a wonderful job bringing to life the real people behind the brand name products we all use and enjoy. He takes you behind the scenes with rich examples of the American entrepenurial spirit. Great stories to share in any setting that people love to hear. I hope Gelbert writes a sequel. Everyone who is struggling to never give up needs to read this book.
