Summary: Fantastic reading!
Review: All the stories from years back are here, in this book! Also, an enlightening interview with Clower. I bought this for my dad for Father's Day and plan to find my own copy. If you want light-hearted, meaningful reading about times past, this is the book for you. This compilation is well-organized i.e. Ledbetter family section, coon huntin' section, etc. Find one of these and put it in a safe place. These are hard to come by and are definitely something to treasure.

Summary: This is laugh-out-loud stuff-- a gifted storyteller!
Review: I first read one of these stories in an airline magazine. I figured the sample was the best of the bunch, but ordered the book anyway. Story after story, Jerry Clower immerses you in the life of the deep south and tells you stories that you will think about for years afterward-- and you'll laugh with each recalling!
