Review: This is the type of Vietnam book that I have been searching for. No nonsense, to the point, and not afraid to offend. Funny, sad and anger provoking all at once. Quick moving and an easy read. I have let friends borrow this book and they have all enjoyed it.

Review: What a fantastic piece of work. I was too young to have served my country in Vietnam, but after reading Mike's account of his service "in country," I feel like I stood shoulder-to-shoulder with him from boot camp through his gut-wrenching experiences in Vietnam. This is truly a book that I could not put down until reading the last page. This book is a must read for anyone who has not experienced the pain, fear, and tragedy of war. Job well done Mike. I'm sure the Corp is very proud of you.
