Rating: Summary: You will laugh and cry- and be surprised too Review: Marie's book made me laugh and cry.My heart went out to her over the problems she has experienced over the years. Many of us must have thought what a perfect life she has, but like so many of us that sometimes give others that impression, we all sometimes hide "Behind the smile".We all feel pain, whoever we are. This book is very touching and full of good encouraging advice for people that have had, or are experiencing similar problems to Marie. How Marie has managed to juggle a full career and seven children is incredible, but one of the things that comes over in the book is that if we stop and listen to our inner voice and stop ignoring it we may have a happier life. Trying to please others all the time and suppressing our pain will only make it manifest itself in other ways. Marie has learn't so many lessons through her depression and shares them with the reader. Her good sense of humour and anecdotes are very funny to read. I hope she now has time to spend with her adorable children and family and I thank her for being so frank in her book and helping others who may be experiencing similar problems to her. You will not be disappointed in this book-once you start reading it, you won't want to put it down. My love and best wishes to you and your family,Marie. ps. Donny's book is also very highly recommended
Rating: Summary: I Wish I Had This Information When I Experience PPD Review: My heart goes out to Marie Osmond. As a man, there is absolutely no way that I could possibly fully understand what she has gone through. No man can. Her story is absolutely horrifying in that she was forced to endure so much suffering without any visible help being available. Ms. Osmond writes with candor as well as humor and I feel confident that readers will benefit from her sufferings. Dr. Judith Moore adds a very informative section at the close of the book that brings much needed knowledge and help to a very serious condition. I hope that more men will read this book so that they might be of some help to the women in their lives who will go through this devastating illness.
